Pay $15.35 an hour

This position is only for high school students ages 16 and older.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities of a Classroom Youth Apprentice:

• Arrive at the site on time and ready to work.
• Responsible for helping the Teacher with Classroom activities.
• Interacts frequently and affectionately with all children.
• Strict adherence to company health and safety policies.
• Always maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrate effective listening, oral and written communication skills
• Engage respectfully with children of a diverse background.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift between 50 occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Well-organized.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to Maintain respectful working relationships with supervisor, team and other staff, parents, and community members.
