ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Bilingual Spanish

POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS:
Hours: 40 hours/week
Status: Full Year
Location: Red Arrow

SUMMARY:
The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will provide assistance to the entire agency and complete a variety of tasks to ensure successful operation of agency business. Job duties will include but are not limited to: answering multi-line phone system; monitoring the two way radio, greeting guests, creating visitor badges, transferring calls and any other project which may arise. Ideal candidates will work well in a detail oriented, friendly, open office environment. Ensure compliance with Reach Dane visitor procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License, motor vehicle and adequate liability insurance as required by agency policy and state liability regulations
  •  High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree and/or higher is preferred
  •  Ability to multitask and adapt to fact paced and/or unexpected changes
  •  Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  •  The ability to translate documents, such as fliers, meeting minutes, policies and procedures
  •  Thorough knowledge of general office practices, generally gained through at least two years of office/administrative experience
  •  Strong working knowledge of personal computers, Windows and Microsoft Office software
  •  Accurate editing and key boarding skills (60 wpm)
  •  Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner
  •  Ability to work independently and take the initiative to begin a task without being instructed to do so
  •  Professional presence on the phone and work site
  •  Knowledge of multi-line phones and two-way radio
  •  Experience with low-income and populations of diverse culture preferred
