REGIONAL SITE SUPERVISOR

SUMMARY:
The Regional Site Supervisor will ensure a safe and healthy environment for children that encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. The Regional Site Supervisor will ensure compliance with health, safety, state licensing, and city accreditation standards. The Regional Site Coordinator will provide supervision and performance feedback for reporting staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess an Associateís degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Education: Exceptional Educational Needs or Child Development; or educational qualifications leading to a Level 12 on the Registry. Bachelorís Degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience in an early care education setting
  • At least two years of successful staff supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Wisconsin Child Care Licensing regulations required
  • Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards is preferred
  • Experience working with low-income families is preferred
  • Must have a valid Wisconsinís Driverís License, motor vehicle and adequate liability insurance as required by agency policy and state liability regulations
  • Demonstrate effective listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual, particularly Hmong and / or Spanish, is desired
  • Must secure Registry certificate within 90 days of employment

*Part Year employees have built in vacations which include summer break, 2 weeks in winter, and spring break (part year staff follow the school district calendar in which their program is located)
